also striking in appearance. With this date we enter the 1990's— a decade of scarcer coins. The 1990 is harder to locate than the 1989, but is still easier to find than some of the subsequent dates; not common by any means, but not rare either. There has been one NGC MS-69 offered over the last 2 years. A fair number of these have earned mS-69s from NGC and PCGS. My experience, however, is that high grades are elusive due to the issues with copper markings — be happy if you can find one. (back)
